Swimmers!
It finally got warm enough yesterday to take the kiddos swimming...the pool was a little chilly because it has been so rainy and not so warm, BUT Lennox put on her life vest AND got in the pool with her momma. Madden is enjoying the pool more than last year as well. I would say it was a success! The icing on the cake was that their daddy got to join in the fun since he got off work a little early! The last pic I got today from Caitlyn. I can't get over Lennox's beautiful smile! She may be getting used to little brother, Eli!

Weekend With Eli
Madden and Lennox went to visit T (Aunt Ashley) in Indianapolis leaving Tyler and Caitlyn with Eli. We decided to give them a weekend "kid free" and we took Eli. It gave us an opportunity to get to know this little fella. He's such a sweetheart. So tiny. Of course, nana had to have a photo session :) This boy is already a month old!

Father's Day
We spent Father's Day at Waffle Farms with Chad/Amber and his family, and my parents. Trenton and Gabi's boyfriend, Ryan also came up to stay with us. We arrived Thursday after torrential downpours. Expecting it to be a rainy and colder weekend, I wasn't initially very excited. Thankfully, it wasn't so bad, in fact, it was actually less rainy camping in Coldwater, Michigan (Waffle Farms) than it was at home. We got sprinkles on Saturday evening right as we were eating as a family to celebrate the dads and for about an hour before we got up on Sunday. So, all in all, not a bad weekend.
Thankful for my dad ... the one who taught me to live with integrity and the true meaning of "it's better to give than to receive." And for my husband, who continually strives to be a good role model for his own children. We stopped in later on Sunday after we got home to visit with Tyler, who just recently became a father for the second time. It was good to see him and his family also. So very very thankful.

Potawatomi Zoo
Ben actually took the day off yesterday to recharge and get away from work. It was going to be a perfect day...upper 70s, lower 80s and sunny and Gabi was off as well, so we decided to take Lennox to the Potawatomi Zoo to see the animals and have a picnic lunch. She LOVED it. She was a little uncertain about the bigger animals like the alpacas that tried to eat our shirts in search of anyone who had the food...she was scared, yet was enticed by what they were. But, she loved the little monkeys in the indoor building which were much more active and moving alot. We took her on the train and Gabi took her on the carousel. I think she had a great time with her nana and papa and her aunt Gabi :)
