We surprised Grandma Honeycutt with a visit for her birthday. Trenton followed us on Friday evening after the kids left and Ben got done with work (around 12:30pm) and we headed to NC. A 90th surprise celebration was planned by Kary and Kelly on Saturday. We decided to bring Gabi's boyfriend, Ryan, with us to also meet grandma and we surprised her on Saturday morning. Jenny let us in the house late Friday.
Got to take Ryan around to show him some sights - such as Buckner Branch and some places that are special to grandma. Also enjoyed some scenery. Check out the super cute shirts they had made. I would say about 50-60 friends and family all showed up Saturday to celebrate our birthday girl.
We pulled off a surprise for Gabi this past weekend for her birthday finally. Saturday evening I had my parents, Ryan (yes, he drove back from IU) and the boys get a table at Olive Garden and then text me to let me know so we could head that way. My mom made a funfetti cake to bring by afterwards so we could all visit at our house. We pulled it off and it was a good time. Lots of smiles from my girl.
20 years old. Just cannot believe how quickly the time goes.
Bethel cheer team placed 8th out of 12 yesterday at Sienna Heights at the Regionals Competition. I was so dang proud of them! They got their highest score to date - 68.75 the first time and after the second score (75% of the total) they got an average of 73.87! And Gabi tried out for All American with results to come Wednesday after the other Regionals have their tryouts. I was so so proud of her!
