Bethel Cheer Showcase

Since the Cheer team was unable to have spectators when they competed this year, they had a showcase at Bethel for family and friends (limited capacity) and a little competition amongst the team...Jumps, Tumbling and Stunts.  Gabi got first in Tumbling and second in Jumps.  Great job by all and was good to see what this team has in person!

2002 Jeep Cherokee

“Lauren” - Gabis PT Cruiser has died. God pulled through for us and a co worker from Bens work (Kevin Beasley) sold us his 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. Fully loaded for under our budget!  Gabi was pretty excited to have a moon roof!

Praying this lasts her another 1-2 years and she will be able to get a newer nicer car. 

21 in Style

Following the sad news of the passing of Gregg Smith late on Gabi’s actual birthday, we had a somber week. We planned to have a celebration with a few of her friends this past Saturday.  I had actually contacted many of her friends and our family to send me videos to put together for her since we couldn’t have the big celebration we had always talked about. It turned out great and I shared that with her Saturday morning. She LOVED it as I knew she would. We decided to go to Gregg’s funeral that afternoon but we timed it just right to surprise Gabi with a limo to take us to Ironhand Winery in South Bend and then try out the Casino in South Bend. Both activities 21 brings on. Gabi invited Emma, Mia Simper, Ryan and Morgan Yeater to come along. The perfect number to make it small yet feel special. I’m so happy she let her old parents tag along. We really enjoyed seeing her smile and have fun after the week we had. 

Unfortunately no one won any money but we did see Ryan’s parents.

It’s official. She is 21 and we celebrated at Texas Roadhouse and she continued the celebration at Hacienda with a few friends.

Celebrated Gabi turning 21 with the family last night. Small but she felt loved. Hating this pandemic during such big milestones.
