Sisters In Law

To say I am blessed to have two sisters by marriage is the least I can say. Went to lunch with them both since Jenny was in town last week. We cried, we laughed and we reminisced while eating good food. So happy we had the chance to get together just the three of us. And then last night we pulled off a surprise dinner at Red Lobster with the whole family for Pam’s 40th birthday.

Finally after waiting 6 weeks for the quartz countertops. They are in!

Waffle Farm Vacation 2021

We went this year from Thursday to the following Sunday. Covid restrictions when making reservations prevented us from getting our usual lakefront site but we did get three sites together across from our normal lake front sites. Our site actually had a full cement pad this time. Not sure why but was thankful because of the rain we got. In total I’m guessing we got at least 3-4” of rain this week. It wasn’t a total washout. When it rained it rained for a long period of time which prevented us from lake time. The first weekend Ryan came with us. He was back to work on Monday. Ben also fished a tournament and met his uncle Jay at Coldwater lake. That was the first day it rained all day and somewhat hard. The boat took on a lot of water so it was hard to dry out the rest of the week. I wasn’t able to paddleboard or go to get ice cream and eat at the willows by boat but we did drive. At least we were able to get those in. Trenton rented the cabin again and came Sunday to Sunday while Tyler and family came Monday to Sunday. Uncle rusty rented their house from Saturday to Saturday and uncle Kenny came on Monday to play on the lake and eat pizza with us in the pavilion. I’m glad we were all able to spend time together as a big family. Temps were good. In the upper 70s most days so we were able to get some sandbar time in … not nearly as many days as we normally do, but happy it wasn’t too cold. Everyone got to ski and wakeboard that wanted to. All in all, thankful for the time. Here are pics from the week.
