Sunburst 5k 2021

While Ben I’m in Chicago for the ND vs Wisconsin game, Gabi played chauffeur for me to run the 5k at Sunburst this morning. It’s been over a year since my last race (injuries and covid shut down) so was kind of expecting the worst. Butttt, I came in just over 30 min and fourth place in my age group!  Could not be happier!

First Doe of Season

Ben harvested his first deer of the season last night. Rainy conditions and cooler. About 50 degrees. Older doe. Dressed out 107 lbs. Ready for a good season!

Florida State vs Notre Dame and Tyler’s 29th

Tyler and Caitlyn went to Florida for the first ND football game of the season and for Tyler’s birthday. Stayed with friends and Trenton in an Airbnb and ND got the W!  Here are a couple pics we got as we shared care of the grandbabies with maw maw and paw paw and nonie and pops 

Babysitting Babies and Wrigleyville

While the boys are away in Florida for the opener game ND vs Fla State, we kept the babies overnight Friday. Got up early and took them to Pete and Melanee so Ben, Gabi, Ryan and I took off to Chicago for Ben’s first pro baseball game - Cubs vs Pirates. We had to eat at Old Crow first of course. And Ben had to get a beer and hot dog at the game. The Cubbies even pulled off a W!

Celebrated with the family the night before my birthday at my parents  the kiddos even got in some swimming  Thank you mom for hosting  I was beyond spoiled  above are photos of our new furniture!
