Texans vs Bears

Got my dad to his first Bears game!  And ben even wore a Bears shirt!  I’m so glad Ben talked me into buying these tickets!!  And they won in the last couple seconds by a field goal 23-20. Bear down!

ND vs Cal

ND pulled a win out 24-17 over Cal after a 0-2 record. Cousin Austin made it up from Mars Hill NC to stay with Trenton and go to his first game. He’s been. A lifelong Irish fan so they did some good walking around. Ben and I got last minute tickets so we were able to go also. I’m gonna say it was our good luck for the Irish win!

Coach Tyler

Let’s just say Tyler had to have the patience of a monk today at Lennox’s and Eli’s first soccer game with him as coach. Some kids were crying while others were just not sure of what to do with only one practice under their belt. Lennox and Eli played for maybe a total of one minute. They were cranky and the heat didn’t help. High of 89 today so it was definitely warm. We will see how the season shakes out as we go. 

Chick Fil A

Was able to get together with everyone for a bit to catch up and celebrate my birthday before the Mishawaka football game. Was good to get together 💜

Yep. Last year in my 40s. I was spoiled, like usual. Ben got me some new birks (the bottom of my originals are about done), a beautiful bouquet delivered and an awesome steak dinner at Heinnes (my choice). Gabi had some chocolate covered strawberries delivered and also got me a foxtail fern that I loved at our trip to Potawatomi Conservatory last week. We later found out that it’s lethal to pets. Sooo, I made sure it’s higher than Gunnar can reach. Got serenaded by Lennox first thing this morning and my parents brought over a Boston cream pie cake for us to share. Got lots of calls and texts from the whole family and many friends. I am most certainly blessed beyond belief!
