Overnight with Grands

Finally got to keep the kiddos overnight on Friday evening. Ben decided he would sleep with them in the living room as a camp out with sleeping bags. I’m pretty sure he regretted that by the morning with a sore back. Buttt he had a great time with them. We took them to see the Easter bunny at the mall and eat dinner at McAlisters on Friday. Got back and played some games with them. Jenga and Ben taught them (or tried to) how to play Go Fish. Gabi was home also so she played with us. Kiddos were out by 10 pm. Yesterday morning we had a great breakfast - eggs, bacon, cinnamon rolls, and fruit. We enjoyed the morning lounging and playing and tried to go to Strikes and Spares. Got there at their opening time and a sign was out front saying they would not open til 130 because of a private event. We were disappointed but decided to go play a game of bowling at Parkway Lanes. Maw maw and paw paw met us to watch. Kiddos were spent by the time we left so we got them home with their mommy and daddy. Really enjoyed just being nana and papa. We can see plenty more times to do so in the future. Looking forward to it!

Moran

Ben fun grabbing up Mrs. Fleming’s kindergarten class at Moran Elementary because my aunt Carol is an aide to one of her students in the afternoon. Was able to sub there yesterday and had a fun and productive full day!

23 Years of Gabi

Took Gabi and Ryan to Chubby Trout for Gabis 23rd. Simple evening but meaningful 💜. Ben saw a customer eating there so he went to say hello. Lo and behold they treated Gabi (all of us) to a delish dessert! Happy birthday sweet girl!
