Softball for Lennox

I had to miss Eli’s first t-ball game because of work, but I made Lennox’s first softball game. Unfortunately, she struck out this game but it was fun to see her in this new style of game. 

Battell Rock Garden

Had to supervise Mayors Youth Council students for volunteer hours yesterday morning at Battell Rock Garden. They have started planting all kinds of flowers to bring it back to what it was intended for. A bit chilly but Jake Crawford, our master gardener for the City said it was perfect. It will be cool to know I was part of the beauty once the flowers come to bloom. 

Easter

Started the day out at church with my parents, my brother and his family, Trenton and Gabi. My parents then hosted lunch and and Easter Egg Hunt for us all afterward. So glad to be together today. And the weather cooperated - low 60s and just a bit cloudy. Great day to celebrate Jesus - He is risen!

 

Kayla and Anthony

Got to celebrate one of my best friend’s daughter getting ready to tie the knot. Monica’s daughter, Kayla, actually got Gabi her job as a tech in the Elkhart Emergency Room before Covid where they became fast friends. Love having friends’ daughters become friends with mine!  

And got to see all the besties yesterday too!

Looking forward to the wedding.

Blue Gold Game

Irish are looking good. Couldn’t have asked for a better day for a Spring game. We all have football fever now already!
