The day has arrived...Gabi's winter formals dance for her high school. She has been waiting for this for so long and the time has come.
Saturday was full - ICE practice 9-12am and off to get hair done at 1pm. We didn't get back from there until close to 3pm and Gabi got dressed, put on makeup and off we went. Gabi was invited to a catered dinner (her fave- Chipotle) with about 22 of her good friends, hosted by Kylee Singleton (fellow JV cheerleader). Kylee's parents did an awesome job! They rented out the community building at Autumn Lake Apartments so there was plenty of room and great pic opportunities. We brought some cake pops and chocolate covered strawberries for dessert. Unfortunately, for Gabi, Alex had to wrestle in Hobart and wouldn't arrive until close to 7pm that evening. But, it was worth the wait for her...Alex looked great and was actually a great sport when it came to picture taking. I forewarn you...lots of pics ahead...

Boys BBall Adams
The boys had a good win against Adams AT Adams last night. In fact, the coach's mom, Mrs. Watson, told us it was the first time MHS had beaten Adams at their school, as far as she could remember.
Thinking of Trenton today...can't believe he is 24. Just amazing how fast the time goes.
Lots of happenings today...stay tuned...

Catching Up
Wanted to catch up on our life happenings this past week. We have been enjoying some nice time off but we know it's about to get crazy again.
Ben was finally able to go out ice fishing...his new endeavor this season. His buddy, Bruce, took him out last year and Ben decided it was something he would like to invest his time and money into because he enjoyed it. They went up into Michigan and got on a lake with 6 inches of ice. The weather had finally decided to cooperate, but the fish weren't. No luck...BUT he was able to use his new 3D underwater camera he has been saving all his gift cards for. Here are a couple pics he sent me while he was out.
And here is a little hint as to what Gabi and I have been having so much fun preparing for...stay tuned for lots of pics!
