Waffle Farm Vacation Thu-Sun

We started out our vacation last Thursday at Waffle Farm.  This year we were able to get the entire Jones side to camp together - or at least visit!  My aunt Carol and mom camped side by side and my brother and my family camped side by side just a few sites down.  Uncle Rusty and his family rented a cottage just a lake over with their kids and Uncle Kenny.  On Sunday we actually got the entire Jones side of the family together for a picture out on the sandbar!!!!  Everyone was able to come for that day!

Celebrating the Fourth

We celebrated the Fourth of July yesterday (Sunday)...
Gabi and I headed to church first, before starting out the activities.  We headed to Paradise Lake right after lunch (Ben, Gabi, Kylee, Dylan (Gabi's bf), and I) to do some tubing and skiing.  Wasn't a bad day...a bit cloudy but warm.  The water was a nice 78 degrees or so...warmer than the air actually.  We made it back about 6:30pm, grabbed a couple pizzas from Papa Johns, got cleaned up and headed out to Four Winds Field in South Bend to watch the South Bend Cubs play some baseball (can't get much more American than that!) and watch the fireworks afterwards.  A busy, but FUN day.
