Presley Senior Night

I remember when my first niece was born!  Now she’s a senior and we celebrated only how the Jones family knows how…the whole crew supporting her last night at a home boys basketball game. 

Syracuse and Superbowl

Yesterday Ben took me to Pandora to add a few charms to my bracelet for Valentines Day. He picked out a pretty red heart, a letter B and a puppy to represent Gunnar. Afterward we headed to the women’s Notre Dame vs Syracuse basketball game where it ended up being a close game but the Irish pulled it out. From there we went to Steve and Danielle Brooks home to watch the Super Bowl with them; McClellans and Wagnerowskis. Definitely a fun day and it was soooooo beautiful outside. Sun shine and in the 40s. We even got to take Gunnar on a few walks this weekend!  

Coach Gabi

Bethel attended their first cheer competition with Gabi as an official coach this weekend…

Elsie Rogers Visitor

Lennox’s pre k class asked parents/relatives to come in and share professions that impact communities. She asked Gabi to come in and she did that today. What fun!  It was so cute to see how excited and proud Lennox was. Gabi, Lennox and I did a McDonalds lunch date afterward. 

Trenton is 32

I made Trenton a cake in his actual birthday so he could share with his co workers and we took him to a local bar with some great burgers that have been highly reviewed…CJ’s Pub in South Bend. And yep. Good burgers for sure! Good food and good conversation. Happy 32nd birthday to Trenton!

31 years

We celebrated 31 years today. Ben got me a dozen beautiful red roses and took me to Chubby Trout for dinner. Had some wonderful salmon and Ben got prime rib. I’ve been wanting to get Ben an outdoorsman ring and figured our anniversary would be the perfect time. It’s made of three things he loves. Antler, fishing line and wood. All to represent outdoors. Got the ring engraved also “B & C Better Together”  

Hard to believe it’s been 31 years but wouldn’t trade it for the world. 

Holiday Get Together

Since Gabi and Emma are officially working women it is much harder to plan our annual Christmas dinner. We had to postpone to January but so happy we finally got a day and time. Love these girls and this tradition. The girls even chose Olive Garden this time. 

NAIA Cheer Rules Book

Not only is Gabi working full time as an Emergency Room Nurse, but she is also Assistant Coach for Bethel Cheer team this year! She’s working on the new routine for the Competitive Team and studying the NAIA Rules and lo and behold look who’s printed in the booklet this year!

2023

It’s tradition at this point to get together with the kids and their significant others and/or family on either New Years Eve or New Years Day to bowl. In years past we have gone to Strikes and Spares but this year we opted for Parkway (old stomping grounds) right when they opened at 4 pm and it was the best idea!  We played three games and had appetizers and pizza. A great time by all!
