North Carolina

Made a quick visit to North Carolina to visit grandma. Gabi got a four day span so we jumped on the opportunity since she wanted to go with us. Saw Chris and Kary, and aunt Alma this time around. Did a small hike up by the rock we always take photos on and we took a ride over to grandpas to see the 1 acre we have. Grandma was an Angel and gave me big mama’s rolling pin. After telling her I’d love to have hers as well to add to my collection (grandma Reinoehl’s and grandma Jones) she gladly obliged. It was a short relaxing visit. Always sad to leave.

Presley

Celebrated Presley’s graduation yesterday. She’s going to be heading off to Ball State in the fall. Was a memorable party. Had Chick fil A of course, since she works there. Was hot and beautiful from the start at 3 pm and at 6:30 it stomed. Hail and all. We all huddled under the tent they had. Lots of laughs. Just can’t believe my first niece on the Brugh side is graduating!

Busy First Saturday of June

Ben’s work EQ encouraged a team for sunburst so Ben said he would walk/run with me if I wanted to try getting back into it after injuries…plantar fasciitis and some meniscus issues. I agreed. The 5k started at 7 am so we met up with Duane and Donnetta. Duane wanted to finished before 30 min so we let him do his thing. And Donnetta wanted to walk the entire thing so we let her do her thing too. We walked a couple times but ended up finishing under 35 min. I was more than happy with that. We quickly headed to the next event…I had to grab the kiddos for Tyler and get them to their TBall game since Caitlyn had to take Madden to his soccer game at the same time. Ben also met Caitlyn because he was supplying the snacks for the soccer team (EQ sponsors them).  So at this moment, Ben and I are relaxing in the ac at home before Presleys graduation party up next. Gonna be another hot day.
