Pumpkin Patch

Had my parents, Gabi and Elian over today for chili, cornbread, applesauce, pumpkin bars, donuts and cider. We all made it to the 10:30 am church service and enjoyed the fall feast afterward. And once we finished our meal we headed to Kerchers. Our fave pumpkin patch spot. Elian was a first timer. Perfect weather. Upper 50s and sunshine. Fall is definitely in the air. Fun times with this group. 

 

Paintball and Jerry Seinfeld

Caitlyn and Tyler invited Ben and Trenton along with some adult men on Caitlyn’s side to play paintball for Maddens birthday. Madden invited 6 of his buddies to come along so Ben was looking forward to it. The rain ended just in time to play. And Ben had a great time. 

Had to leave just a bit early for Jerry Seinfeld show at the Morris. We headed to Logan’s and caught the show immediately after. Jerry was good. A lot of laughter. 

Trunk or Treat

Bens work did another Trunk or Treat this year so we grabbed up the kids tonight and took them. 

Closed Up

We went Sunday (since Saturday was rainy and windy) and got the camper all closed up for the winter. It was the last day to have electric and water at the campground. Got it done in about 4 hours with my brothers help. Also was on time to start my first colonoscopy prep at 5 pm that evening. Was easier not eating solids staying busy at the camper all day. Colonoscopy yesterday went well. The doctor destroyed one very small polyp and I was in and out of the doctors office in 2 hours. Glad that’s over and all is well! Noting the flowers we had in the pots because they did so well all summer. 

We will see what happens next summer when it comes to our location. Please send good vibes and prayers our way. 

ND vs USC

Didn’t tailgate for this one because of the weather. Rain and 50s most of the day. Tapered off just before game time. No tickets to the game another reason to just watch from couch under a cover. The boys and Gabi decided to brave the elements though and got some good pics from them. Trenton, Tyler and Caitlyn got tickets to go into the game. Gooooo Irish!

Homecoming at MHS

Even though it was cold and rainy last night at the homecoming game at MHS, we made it priority to go watch since Reese made Sophomore court and Addy and her boyfriend, Ethan, were in the running for King and Queen. Mishawaka came away with a win and Addy and Ethan won!  We didn’t stick around after the third quarter as it started raining again, but we were able to see the girls!  And Presley was home for fall break. So a win all around!
