Relay For Life
Today I relayed for my brother, Rodney, and my in laws who were all taken way too early. Dark blue for Colon Cancer, light blue for Prostate Cancer and green for Lymphoma. Gabi and the cheer team led the first lap of survivors this morning and it was certainly touching. I looked over and noticed Gabi was crying as she stopped to clap for all the survivors. She knows what it's like to lose someone close to cancer and it hurts. Today we are hoping, praying and relaying for a cure. Hope.

Terra Boost and Opportunities
Trenton took a job a couple months ago with a company called Terra Boost. In fact, his official title...Distribution Manager. It's a company up and coming and Trenton has been in charge of a big roll out on the East Coast this past month. It's his first BIG job with this company. In fact, he was able to hire and take Tyler along for it. With Tyler taking online courses at this point in his education, he was able to go and make some money and of course, just get away for a bit. With everything going on in his life, I hope it makes a difference for him.
Terra Boost is a company that distributes hand sanitizer billboards and sanitizer in businesses throughout the U.S. Trenton actually staffed a warehouse with workers to put together many of these billboards for a week. The next phase actually included Trenton and Tyler delivering these to the business throughout New York. They have been sending many pics along the way.

And most recently camped at Wildwood State Park between work deliveries.
Bittersweet Goodbye
Yep...we finally got official word yesterday. The Ice Cheer program at Ft. Wayne and Mishawaka is closing. We have heard unofficial statements and knew it was coming...Gabi was heart broken. She has been at the gym as many days as she can be just to get all she can in before it's over. It's hard for her even though we kind of decided we would take a break from competition this coming year. This is her favorite place to be. This is where she fell in love with competitive cheer and cheer itself. We will miss it.
Varsity Cheer!
Gabi had cheer tryouts for Mishawaka the week after Spring Break. In fact, all week. Thursday were cuts and final decisions. She decided to cheer for a two season (football and basketball) and go for the Competition Team as well. She made all three. And on Varsity!!! Six sophomore girls actually made the Varsity Squad this year...Sydney, Alivia, Kylee, Asia, Brooke and Gabi! (Sydney not pictured). So proud of them all! Looking forward to an awesome year!

Gabi's Spring Break - Wednesday
Gabi said they were taking a day off from sunbathing and would just go downtown Disney to shop. I guess they also stopped in at Universal Studios for a visit!!!

Easter Sunday
Our Easter Sunday consisted of church, lunch at Outback Steakhouse with my parents, some updating in the house and a beautiful walk with the dogs on the Riverwalk in Mishawaka. Finished off with some DQ. A beautiful day - sunny and 60's - can't beat that! He is Risen!!!
Gabi's Spring Break - Saturday
Gabi went to Melbourne, Florida, with a friend (Cassidy Stose) for Spring Break week. Cassidy's dad's parents live there and they visit there for Spring Break often. It was Cassidy's turn to bring a friend and she chose Gabi. They left Thursday after school and arrived late Friday. I will be posting some pics as she sends them to me...here is her day 1 at the beach (Saturday)
