Team Dinner

I helped Danielle host the team dinner for the Girls Track Team last night...pasta and salad was on the menu, along with cookies and brownies.  Ended up with about 30 some girls (give or take)...but it was a good time to get to know some of them.  Good bunch of girls.  Glad Gabi has the opportunity and the desire to do track this year.

Northridge Relays

It was a long day...but beautiful!  Sunny and 70s for the Northridge Relays.  Many schools represented.

Gabi did long jump (12-8.00), 4x100m relay (Precious, Jada, Gabi and Alexis at 53.41) and 4x200m relay (Jada, Dei, Skylar and Gabi 1:57.21 with Gabi as anchor at 30.21)

The girls put up a close fight and I believe Gabi beat some of her scores...she tripped out of the gate for the 100m dash  (14.20) but she did the same competitions as last meet (200m dash (30.10), 4x100m relay (54.30) and long jump Varsity (13-8.50) and 100m dash for JV)

Gabi's Spring Break

And this is Gabi's Spring Break (with the Stapleton family)...in Siesta Key, Florida.  And yes, I'm jealous.

We got up early on Tuesday to try Horsts Bakery Haus which received great reviews for their breakfasts and donuts.  Such a cute little place.  We only tried the donuts and they were delicious!!!!  We did a little bit more shopping at a couple antique places we missed on Saturday and I found my barrel I had been wanting and headed home.  Stopped in at Half Moon Brewery and Smokehouse in Kokomo because we heard it was fabulous ... and it was, before the last trek home.  It was a good time and was refreshing to get away from it all for a bit.
