Elkhart Christian Academy

Our boys got beat in a close one at Elkhart Christian Academy last night.  First time being in that gym...small, but lots of fun with an interactive crowd on both sides.  Made it for a fun game.

14 And Christmas Cookies

I baked Christmas cookies while Dylan and Gabi made gingerbread houses and watched Christmas movies this weekend.  And we celebrated Maizy's 14th birthday over the weekend (11th).  Our first big snow (7 inches) came so it made it easy to stay in and stay warm.  Ben and Dave made their way to North Carolina to check in on grandma and grandpa Honeycutt and came home on Sunday evening.  Luckily just in time before the snow got pretty bad overnight.  

Boys BBall Valparaiso

The boys took on Valparaiso on Saturday evening and what a tough team!  Another loss for our boys unfortunately.

Boys BBall Goshen

Lost a super close game to Goshen last night.  Heard they were tough, but we hung in there.  Probably should have actually won the game.

Mannheim Steamrollers

Ben surprised me a couple weeks ago after I mentioned that I would love to see Mannheim Steamrollers at the Morris Civic Auditorium...they are a group I have listed to for quite some time thanks to my mom...especially at Christmas.  We were able to have a date night last night (dinner at Logans) and see them.  When the show was over I was ready for a winter wonderland and Christmas!

Out with Thanksgiving...In with Christmas

Traditions around here allow for us to wait until after Thanksgiving to put up Christmas decorations.  We did that throughout the weekend after the big day and invited Gabi's boyfriend, Dylan over to help.  And we had to say goodbye to Trenton Monday morning to get back to work...was a nice Thanksgiving with everyone together.
