Crossroads League Championships 2021

Ben and I were blessed to be able to attend this in person as “assistants.”  We also took the team food for the tournament. Because we had a flyer out with an injury, the team has to make due. We ended up fourth out of six.

Gabi ended up hurting her elbow during the second routine and we feel it may have played a part in her falling during her full twist in All American tryouts. Her stunt hit and her jumps were spectacular. It threw us off when she fell during her tumbling. She never falls and she was devastated. She had a moment in the hallway upset but this was yet another way God decided to show us His love. A couple of IWU basketball players saw her and brought her a few apples and notes. Just another reminder that Bethel was the right choice for Gabi. She will rise and try again next year.

First Place!

Bethel made their way to Mount Vernon for their second competition tonight. There was only three teams but closer in size to Bethel. The team competed twice. The first round wasn’t their best with a big stunt fall but Bethel ended up winning both rounds!

Good day to take the kids and grandkids sledding at Elm Road School!  A first for Lennox and Eli, and they loved it!
