Christmas Eve

Started Christmas Eve off by watching Gabi and Ryan exchange their gifts, then off to Christmas Eve service at church. Because of Covid, most of the family decided to keep it low key and stay home with their families so we opted for our kids to meet at my parents for a mini Christmas Eve celebration. We had all the fixings like we normally do. Many appetizers and we played some “Heads Up” which turned out to be a lot of fun.  The great Grandbabes for their gifts from maw maw and paw paw. Just happy they were feeling better from a week of influenza A. Glad some of the family could be together. 

Grand dog

Got a message about a new grand dog today. A Christmas present for the kids from Tyler and Caitlyn. Excited to meet this guy in person when the kids are over the flu. 

Shipshewana

Took Gabi and Ryan with us to Blue Gate for dinner and then to the beautiful lights they have tonight. I must say it has lifted my Christmas spirits a little bit!  A good night indeed!

Friends

Gabi and I together with Emma and Lina for dinner just like we do each year. This year at Bar Louis. Always good to catch up with good friends. 

Reinoehl Side Christmas

We had Pam and Jeff and the kids over for Christmas tonight. Pizza, meatballs, bbq weinies, fiesta dip with chips, fruit and cookies were on the menu. It was nice to catch up with them. Unfortunately Bren had to work so we missed him and Lennox wasn’t feeling 100%.
