Round 1 Playoff

So my boss just happened to have extra tickets to the first round playoff game tonight - Indiana (#10) and Notre Dame (#7) and I was able to buy them from him at face value!  Score!  To top it off, Gabi and Elian also got two tickets. Being a Friday night I got off at 315pm and met up with everyone to go out and tailgate a little bit. Met up with Mammolentis and The Mayor to visit. And stopped to watch Ganeday too!  What a game!  I’ve never seen Notre Dame so packed and loud!  This mornings weather had me so excited … an inch of snow on the ground and snowing til noon. The temps weren’t terrible - 20s and a few big flakes of snow during the game made it so much fun!  Definitely a once in a lifetime game. And the Irish are off to the Sugar Bowl to play Georgia on New Years Day. 

ND vs Eastern Michigan

Trenton, Gabi and I made it to the women’s ND game against Easter Michigan. Good win and then Gabi and I went to my Christmas party for work. 

Busy but fun day. 

Annual Christmas Overnight

Jingle and Snowflake the elves made their appearance at our annual Christmas themed overnight last night with the grands. 

Started out with chick fil a for dinner. Then we had our gingerbread making contest. Lennox and Eli tied, per usual. Put kiddos in the car and took them through winding brook to look at the lights. But with it being Friday after a school week, they fell asleep toward the end.  We got them home and got them bathed and ready for bed. Movie of choice was Home Alone but we had to finish it this morning. Kiddos were so tired. This morning we surprised Gabi to cheer her on at the Flannel 5k. Came home and decorated Christmas cookies with the kiddos and then made our last stop to eat Chipotle. Fun times as always.
