Celebrated my dad early today with cake and ice cream. Chad, Amber, Presley, Gabi, Elian, Tyler, Caitlyn and the littles came to my parents house to celebrate my dad a day early - best day for everyone. We are blessed to have him as a dad and paw paw.

Siminton and Fun!

My good friend, Leigh, bought a house on Siminton Lake a few years ago and she and her husband have been updating it. I’ve always wanted to get over and see it and today was the day. Gabi and I met Tyler, Caitlyn and the littles at Flippin Cow right after I got off about an hour early from work. We grabbed some food to go and headed to the sandbar where Leigh came out to meet us. We caught up and just enjoyed the warm water and 90 degree weather. We stayed out until about 7 and Tyler took us back to get my car. Gabi and I drove to Leigh’s house to take the tour and wow. She is definitely blessed. I was so happy to finally see the beautiful place. And it was especially nice to catch up with Leigh. A great Monday for sure. 

Biancalana Wedding

Gabi and I had a girls trip to Chicago to watch Kayla Minne (Monica’s daughter who got Gabi her tech job at EGH and they became friends) marry Anthony - her long time boyfriend. Such a beautiful wedding!  And so much fun at the reception!  Great girls trip!

Mishawaka Parks Trek

One of my goals given to the mayor in January was that I wanted to get to all the Mishawaka Parks with my grandkids. We checked off some because we’ve been to them several times the summer prior:

Kate’s Garden

Pricket Marina

Temple

Tonight Gabi and I took the kids to dinner at Culver’s and knocked out four more parks.
