Yesterday was a great day :) Celebrated my 37th birthday with my family just the way I wanted...first up was my daily run on the treadmill. Got up a bit early to get it over with but it really wasn't that bad. Felt good. Next up after dropping Gabi off at school, free tanning at Malibu for my birthday which I LOVE :) Got a little done in the office before taking Trenton to Gabi's school for some lunch. She has been wanting us to come eat with her since school started and figured this was the perfect opportunity. We grabbed a sandwich and headed there. Lots of smiles from all her friends...Gabi was proud, and so was I.
Did some more paperwork in the office until everyone started getting home and headed out to Logans after Tyler's practice. He was able to skip out on defense film to come and spend time with his mom :)
All in all, a good day. Got a gift card from Trenton to
Old Navy along with a nice letter he wrote...waiting on my gift I chose from Ben and the kids...a
Lisa Leonard necklace - which I am SOOOO excited to get. A Michigan shirt from Dave (a tradition from him) and the
student ND shirt from Ben also, looking forward to wearing that on Saturday. It was a good day to be reminded how blessed I am to have such good friends and family!
