Notre Dame took on Miami at Soldier Field this past weekend and Ben was lucky enough to be a part of it. He went with friend, Duane and met up with Trenton and some of his buddies to tailgate a little beforehand.
Since it was a late game Ben and Duane stayed with Trenton in his dorm room overnight, took the boy to breakfast and headed home on Sunday. Ben said, although it was a bit chilly (30's), he had a good time in that atmosphere. Also helps that Notre Dame is doing so well this year!!!!

So another week down...onto this week. Tried an awesome recipe (
Kings Hawaiian Baked Ham and Swiss) thanks to Pinterest and had plenty left for Ben to take Trenton as leftovers. Ben and Gabi both loved it. Gonna try
Chicken Pesto Stuffed Shells and maybe even
caramel apple cheesecake bars tonight!!! I love Pinterest!!! Even have some fall projects we will be attempting in the house. Not so sure Ben likes Pinterest because of that fact, but he is game ;)
Feels like we are completely skipping fall and heading into winter with frost on the ground and temps in the 30's this morning. BRRRRR Gabi and I took in a movie (
Hotel Transylvania) while Ben was away and after seeing the upcoming seasonal movies coming out and temps as cold as what they were, she had me listening to Christmas songs in the car on the way home!!! Yikes. Let's hope the temps rebound a bit...and on a HAPPY note...purchased tickets to watch our Hoosiers play at Assembly Hall today and we could not be more excited, considering the talent they have this year!!! Looking forward to what's to come this year!!!
