Memorial Day

This weekend we started with just a few things we had to do...a couple grad parties and babysit Lennox.  It ended up being a VERY busy weekend.  Friday Ben took the day off work and we decided to run down to our hunting areas to put together two hunting towers Ben envisioned.  Worked out well!  Just a couple more things we need to do for it to be complete for this coming hunting season.  It's coming together.  That afternoon we came home to the state for my work.  So, it was back to work for me that day while Ben tore out some bushes around the house.  I decided I would not allow the state to ruin my holiday weekend so Saturday we got up and actually went to the Farmer's Market.  Picked up some goodies and I made a strawberry rhubarb pie and brats while Ben took Trenton fishing before we babysat baby Lennox for the evening.  To top it off we have baby bluebirds and robins!

Sunday we opted out of church to get our powerwashing done, lawn mowed and edged...all before the two grad parties we had to go to.  Bittersweet going to Emma's grad party, but excited to know she is going to Bethel with Gabi!
Monday we actually all headed to my parents' house to swim with Tyler, Caitlyn and family and Trenton. Gabi also brought a friend.  Weather was perfect for swimming.  HOT.  Later that evening we took Madden on his FIRST boat ride.  He LOVED it!  And we are so excited to take this little man fishing.  We even picked him up a Star Wars pole to use.  All in all, a busy weekend!
