Cute Puppies and Kiddos

Friday morning I received a text from Tyler/Caitlyn with a photo of their two dogs and a cute little announcement - that they were going to have puppies.  We knew a couple months ago that Gigi went into heat for the first time and they were "trying" to keep them apart, but were not successful each time.  They were not sure until they took Gigi to the vet and it was confirmed that she was due about anytime!  Tyler then texted me that evening saying she was panting alot and they thought it would be this weekend for sure.  Saturday morning I woke up to a photo of Gigi and 9 puppies.  She delivered them without any issues in 4 hours in the wee hours of the morning.  They also asked me if I could come over and help weigh and sex them and of course...who doesn't love seeing newborn pups?  Went to help and recorded she had 5 males and 4 females.  They were absolutely adorable!  And very interesting watching Gigi become a first time mommy.  Saturday evening was Table or Treat with the Mayor's Youth Advisory Council and Tyler brought the kiddos.  Lennox was Beetlejuice and Eli was Bumblebee.  I was so happy to see them.  Always warms my heart when the come to the activities I have to be involved in.  This weekend has been a busy and surprising weekend.  I am thankful for the warm weather still.  It has been sunny and in the 70's during the day - colder at night.  Hoping it holds out this way for the Miami game coming up in a couple weeks.  Enjoy the pics of some cute puppies (including my own) and some cute kiddos.
