Page, Arizona - Friday

Decided to check out the popular Antelope Canyon (upper tour) on Friday. We knew it would be an all day event. Our tour was at 1230 pm their time and we made sure we left in plenty of time. Drove through Navajo Reservation most of the way (3 hour drive).  Seeing the different landscapes was awesome. Not to mention the temperature drop. It was upper 50s in Sedona. In Page, it was in the 30s and lower in some areas.
Checked out Lake Powell overlook before our tour. And it was stunning. Ended up just minor compared to what we would see the rest of the weekend. Antelope Canyon is open only through tours as it is on the Navajo Reservation and run by them. But wow. Absolutely stunning. The tour was about an hour and a half but well worth the drive. We drove back to Sedona (snowed a bit on the way back) and grabbed a wood fired pizza and beer at Oak Creek Brewery. Excellent food and atmosphere. Needless to say, a jam packed day and loved every minute.
