Boys A Basketball team won against Northside last night...whew...three nights in a row...I'm wore out!! ;)

On another note...took Gabi to Logan's Roadhouse last night (her choice) for making straight A's again!!!  Second time!!  Great job, honey!!  So proud!

Concord B

Our B team for basketball (7th grade) lost to Concord last evening BUT the cheerleaders were looking good as always!! :)

Discovery

So glad our Jaguars beat the Archers last evening in boys basketball.  We even had a pretty decent ref ;) (Chad).  Gabi looked beautiful as usual and she especially liked her star sticker they used on their face.

 

Thanksgiving

This year we were lucky and had EVERYONE from both sides able to be with us for Thanksgiving.  22 people in all!  And we got to meet our latest addition...our nephew, Lucas.  So thankful for that.  So thankful that my children were able to be home.  And Thanksgiving did not disappoint us...so much food.  Lots of chatter, laughter and love filled my home.  What a sight to see our families united, hand in hand for prayer in my kitchen.  Although we were desperately missing mom and dad R this year, I just know they were right there with us and so proud.  Happy Thanksgiving!

Angel By His Side

Tyler got home last night for Thanskgiving break from IU.  One thing he has been wanting to do is hunt.  Ben has been preparing for it and they got their opportunity this morning.  First day of gun season...always the "best" time to go.  And we got one.  Tyler shot a 4 point buck who had a bit of a "giddyup" in his step.  The buck's back leg was hurt so Tyler opted to shoot.  His description of watching the buck come out into his sight and watching the buck exhale smoke from his nose in the cool morning air was exciting.  What made it even more exciting...Tyler got him with his grandpa's gun.  First year going without him and I know that is so very missed by Ben.  A very good moment for Tyler.

Got together last weekend for Lina's 40th birthday (which was on Halloween).  So nice to see good friends from High School.  Mariette, Monica, Meredith and of course, Lina.  Had a great time!!!  Love these girls! 

B Game - Goshen

The B team won last night against Goshen...they actually kept it pretty close and pulled out the win last minute by like 2 points!!  Great job, Jags!

Schmucker

Our boys basketball team looked much better from Tuesday night against Schmucker and won 40-30 last night!  The students made noises like "uh...whoa" when Gabi went into her splint stunt.  She did good, as usual.  Gabi was really getting into the game as Schmucker narrowed in on the score toward the end of the game.  Pretty exciting.

And look what I spied as I was walking through the gymnasiums.  Yep.  Proud mom here :)

Happy Halloween!

Halloween seems to be more of a socialization event anymore with Gabi getting older.  I guess I should be happy she still wanted to trick or treat this year.  Gabi decided to be a "beanie baby" at the last minute but she ended up a very cute bunny :)  Every year we go to my good friend, Lina's house to let Gabi go with her daughter (Gabi's good friend), Emma.  And it always doubles as a birthday party for Lina...she turned the big 40 this year!!!  Although it was misty and in the 40's the girls had a good time.  Gabi came home with plenty of candy, that's for sure.  Happy Halloween!
