Tonight was an awesome evening for some high school football!  Not only did the Cavemen win, but we got to see Bren introduced with his Rocket League - The Ravens at halftime and Chad/Amber and the girls came to watch Gabi cheer.  Low temps in the 60's- couldn't beat it!  Gabi and the cheerleaders are looking better and better each week with their stunts and cheers!  Bringing Mishawaka Cheer to a whole new level!  Proud of her and the girls!

Riley JV

Had another home JV game last night and another win for the Cavemen!  Forgot my camera - but the weather was nasty - rainy and cold.  The girls looked great as usual though!

Apples Galore

We finally made it to our favorite campground this year - yes, we only made it here once this year sadly.  Jellystone in Fremont, Indiana.  It was Apples Galore Weekend and we were looking forward to a fall weekend but we were hoping for warmer weather so there new splash playground would be open (last weekend).  Unfortunately, Friday and Saturday were both a high of 58 degrees so none of us were thinking bathing suits at all.  It did put us in the Fall spirit though, for sure.  Tye dying, caramel apples and I even tried my hand at the Apple Pie Contest (placing fourth of seven) was on the to do list.  Our Fall menu made it even better Saturday - we decided to make soups (Amber made Zuppa Toscana while I made Bean Soup), my parents came up with Wings, we also had cornbread, Italian bread, Buffalo dip with chips, apple pie, doughnuts and cider.  All perfect foods for the Notre Dame game Saturday night.  It was a bit chilly but made sitting by the fire even better!  The girls had fun doing each other's hair, riding the pedal carts, eating Bosco sticks, jumping on the "jumpy pillow" and going on lots of walks in the Fall air.  Good time and good memories before putting the camper away this year.  Already talking about more trips next year.

A great win for the JV game today at Clay.  Played today because of the rain delay from Friday night.  The JV cheerleaders did great!  Loud and proud!
