Smoky Mountain Bigfoot Conference

If you know Trenton, you know he loves Sasquatch. Ever since he was little. He reads books on them, listens to podcasts and he watches shows. And this weekend he drove to Gatlinburg to the Smoky Mountain Bigfoot Conference with a friend from UPS that lives near Indy now, Joanna. 

Before Trenton left on Thursday, Gabi surprised him with a cameo video from a famous Bigfoot believer and speaker, James “Bobo” Faye. Trenton has been 60 days sober from alcohol, including a tempting week of vacation. But he stayed strong. So Gabi had the video sent to her for him before he left. He loved it and was a perfect kickoff to his weekend. Here are some pics he’s shared and the video from Bobo. 

Bluebird

Unfortunately, my bluebirds were unable to have a successful hatching this year in any of my houses because of the sparrows. But Gabi did something today. 

Daisy Award

Gabi found out she had been nominated for the Daisy Awaard while we were on our weeks vacation. She got her pin yesterday. So very proud of her. This award is so deserving. From the stories she comes home with, I know this girl is pretty important. And the hospital is so blessed to have a woman with such a loving and caring heart. My mama heart is bursting with proud energy today!

Weekend Happenings

The weekend was beautiful as far as weather so I tried to enjoy it the best I could. Saturday we celebrated Addys boyfriend at his high school graduation party. Ethan Bryce is such a sweet young man and so proud of him. Also had a little campfire at home with Gabi and Trenton. Missing camping at Waffle Farms. 

Sunday was church and I also put a couple of my medal/bib holders I’ve been making in the Mishawaka Market for sale. Shellie Lentz has a booth with her Laurel Home Creations and she offered to take a couple. She said it was a lot slower than normal and neither sold this time. Walked the woods with Trenton Sunday evening and put a camera out. Also took Gabi and Gunnar for ice cream in the evening. Utilized the weekend well. 

Time to go Home

All good things come to an end unfortunately. 

Already looking forward to next year. 

Day 6 - Waffle Farms

Our last full day of vacation spent on the sand bar with everyone including uncle Kenny. He came again and then we had our family dinner in the evening. Also gave out awards for the fishing tournament. Two time Youth Winner Bennett and three time Adult Winner Trenton. Took a pic of the board for safe keeping but definitely had a good variety this year. Sad for it to be over, but feeling so very blessed.
