Summer Sleepover

We finally were able to get the kids over to spend the night last night.  Started with dinner at Chick Fil A.  I gave the kids an option of Crumbl Cookie or make a fire for s'mores for dessert.  Since Lennox recently earned her badge for fire in Girl Scouts, she was eager to do a fire.  So s'mores it was.  The kids asked to watch "Home" on Netflix, so we started it after getting cleaned up for the night.  Unfortunately, they didn't last through the movie.  Sleepy kiddos.  Asleep by 9:30 pm.  Up by 7 am, we made some cinnamon rolls with some fruit for breakfast and played some Mario Kart, colored and just hung out til our movie - Toy Story 5 at the theatres.  It did not disappoint.  So glad to have spent time with the kiddos and looking forward to our vacation at Waffle Farms next week!

A Little Gem For Gabi

Rhonda Gradeless actually sent me a message saying she was helping Katie Smith clean out her house as she prepares to move and found that Gregg had saved this article on Gabi.  Brought tears to my eyes reading it, but made me cry even more knowing it meant that much to Gregg to keep it.  He is missed.

Reese Graduates

Got to see Chad's last child graduate high school on Thursday evening at MHS.  I have cried every time one of his girls graduates and seeing him hug them as they receive their diploma on stage.  Graduation party tomorrow for Reese.  She will be heading to Ball State - still hasn't decided on a major but has tossed around teaching.  Stay tuned.  Can't believe the last one is graduated.
