National Honor Society
Gabi was inducted into the National Honor Society last night...on Ben and my 25th Anniversary. Couldn't think of a better gift from ANY of our children than to see them flourish and succeed. Loved being able to be here to watch her reap what she has been sewing. One proud mama right here!
New Job for Gabi
Gabi started her new job at KFC/A&W Rootbeer just a couple weeks ago. On Monday we ran through the drive through to have her serve us! What a cutie!

Naperville
Made a quick trip to Naperville last Saturday. Decided to take Trenton to lunch for his birthday and make a couple shopping stops...Bass Pro Shops and Ikea. Tried out a new little place in downtown Naperville...Everdine's Grilled Cheese. A homey, quaint little place serving comfort foods - particularly grilled cheese and all different kinds! And couldn't leave without getting some take home Lou Malnati and Cookie Dough Creations.

Quick NC Trip
Ben had a few days to burn before the end of the year so he asked Gabi and I to take a quick trip to NC with him (Wed-Sat) to check on his grandparents. Grandpa is not doing as good as earlier this year and needs some help so Ben wanted to get a first hand look at his situation. Gabi and I stayed with grandma and Ben stayed the nights with his grandpa. Gabi wanted to be back for NYE to spend it with her bf, Dylan, so it was a nice, quick trip. Came home on NYE (Saturday) and spent the evening with Gabi/Dylan and Duane/Donnetta.
