Fishing

Had a good time fishing with Ben after the Parade today on Stone Lake in Middlebury.  Got into some nice sized bluegill and a couple bass.  Got enough for dinner tomorrow evening!

This was Gabi's first official event with the Cheer team for her Senior Year!  Very bittersweet.  Beautiful weather - sunny and 70s and LOTS of people.  Great turnout!

First Cubs Game

Trenton wanted to take Gabi to a Cubs game for her birthday...Unfortunately, Ben had a fishing charter that day and Tyler had to work so Gabi and I hopped on the South Shore and headed to Chicago on Friday to see Cubs vs. Brewers.
The weather ended up cold and rainy - in the upper 40's so it was not pretty.  BUT let me tell  you I definitely could sit there for a whole game on a nice warm summer day!  The atmosphere is awesome!  And it was fun to see Trenton!  We LOVED eating lunch at Old Crow (brisket).  Ended up being a rain delay so we headed back early only to find out the Cubs lost when it was all said and done 3-6
Even though the weather wasn't the best, we still had a good time just the three of us!

Mother's Day Weekend

Blessed that Trenton was able to come home for the weekend and spend some time with me for Mother's Day...

 Ben went fishing on Saturday and was able to package some up for grandma Jones and my mom for Mother's Day...

Sad that Gabi had to work at noon...but she spent the evening with me...and she got me the mascara I wanted at Sephora (prom day), some bubble bath and a bath bomb!

Magnolia Homes

My main attraction I wanted to see this time around was Magnolia Homes in Waco, Texas.  Home of Chip and Joanna Gaines from Fixer Upper.  LOVED the atmosphere!  Did the "Magnolia Trail" suggested on a website.  And even found Chip and Joanna's farm home!

Inside the Market...word is the Silos will be opening soon...one is Joanna's and one is Chip's.  No word on what will be inside yet...
