IWU

Bethel lost to #1 in the division, Indiana Wesleyan last night but Gabi was the winner with the biggest fan club.  Maw maw and paw paw, Uncle Chad and Aunt Amber with their girls, Uncle Jay and Aunt Annie, Tyler and his family and Trenton all came to support our cheerleader.  It was a packed house and a close game, but Bethel didn't get the job done this time.
In other GREAT news, Gabi received her official letter of acceptance into the nursing program on Friday and she also made the Dean's list with her excellent grades of all A's last semester.  We are soooooo proud of this girl!
Gabi and Journei (both MHS alumni) two man stunting!

Love that both boys wore their Bethel shirts that Gabi got them for Christmas!

Blackhawks vs. Capitals

We got a special special gift from Trenton's friend, Susie for Christmas....Blackhawks shirts for all of us and tickets to this AWESOME game!  Best one I have ever seen...even on tv!  Toews got a "hat trick" (3 goals in one game) and won over the prior Stanley Cup winners 8-5!  Annnnnd three fights to boot!!!!  Lennox was even asked to put on some cute headphones for a jumbotron premier during a commercial break!  See the video below! She's a super star, even if she was cashed out!
Great time with the ENTIRE family and being able to share a first time experience with most!  Go Hawks!

Competition Team

Aquinas Competition

The Bethel Pilot Competition team headed to Aquinas College in Michigan this morning just as a snow storm warning entered into the area as well.  But, there was no way Ben and I were going to miss Gabi's first competition with Bethel.  Because alot of the team missed NAIA eligibility timeline, we only competed with 6 members (costing us major deductions).  And because of the weather, there was only two teams at the competition.  Aquinas (which was much larger and us)...so, Bethel took second :)  But this was a good experience for Gabi and I am so proud that she stays positive and is having a good time.
