Christmas Day

Made a breakfast casserole, cinnamon rolls and fruit for Trenton, Gabi, and me this morning.  Opened gifts and headed to Chad's for lunch.  This year we had pulled pork, mac & cheese, hash brown casserole, salad, peanut butter chocolate chip bars and cheesecake.  It was fabulous!  This year I had Presley and Addy had me.  It was a beautiful afternoon.  Sunny and somewhat warm.  It was nice to spend time with Chad and his family.  Rounded out the day going to Tyler's to watch them open gifts from us.  They had a great Christmas as well.  And per usual, I was spoiled.  But mostly, I enjoyed watching everyone open their gifts.  Gabi did such a great job with her gifts this year.  So intentional.  And it was super special having Trenton completely sober with us.  His gifts were also so intentional and purposeful.  One thing we did add to our tradition...or shall I say, we brought back...Trenton read the Christmas story from his Bible to us after we got to Tyler's before opening gifts.  A tradition that Ben's dad started years ago.  Very special indeed.

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve was spent at my parents' house as usual - the one tradition that is LOVED by my family.  Gabi and I also attended the candlelight service at church.  Ended the evening with Gabi reading "The Night Before Christmas" to me and Gunnar :)
