Had Gabi's 12th birthday party with her friends last night. She wanted a sleepover and had all her closest friends...Nikki, Thi, Lizzy, Kara, Lisa, Sloane, Sydney, and Emma. Uncle Chad did us a HUGE favor and allowed us to have some free time playing volleyball (daddy even got in on the action) and basketball at John Young in the gym for a couple of hours after we ate pizza and opened gifts.
Came back, had some ice cream cake (Gabi's fave) and the girls put in a few movies, ate some more, and talked and texted all night...either on an ipod or a cell phone. It was funny to see. The girls were all sprawled out each looking at their device...made me chuckle a bit. How times have changed.
According to Gabi they all turned in about 2 am and were up about 7:30 am for donuts. She said they all had a great time so that is all that mattered. Can't believe how quickly my little girl is growing.
