Potawatomi Zoo with Grandbabes

Decided to take Lennox and Eli to breakfast at OC Cafe and then to the local zoo this morning. Beautiful morning for it. Our timed entry was at 10 am. We got in the Carousel ride twice and we also rode the train. Lennox was definitely more interested this year and told every animal “hi” and “bye.”  She loved the Carousel. Eli pointed at everything but enjoyed his papa time. We also got to hear the lion roar (which has not happened for me in all the years I’ve visited) and had a close encounter with the goats and a peacock. We ended the morning with a picnic lunch at the neighboring park. A good morning indeed.
