Felt so loved this Labor Day weekend and birthday. 51 feels good. I’m stronger and wiser than I have ever been. And I’m still very much appreciated, supported and loved.
Friday Gabi came to see my office and meet a few of my co workers. Later that evening we went to the “Backyard Brawl” to see Mishawaka take on Penn at Mishawaka brand new turf field. And MHS dominated 27-7! Last time we beat Penn was 2018 so it was a pretty awesome win!
Saturday morning Gabi and I went with my parents to the Blueberry Festival and got some cute decor for the upcoming holidays. The weather was fantastic. 80s and sunny. Grabbed some yummy food there too! Fried veggies, Nelsons chicken and an elephant ear!
Came home and washed our cars since it was so nice outside. And got to watch the grands for a bit while Tyler and Cait went to a birthday party. Eli guessed I was turning 15 and Lennox said 21! It was nice to spend time with them! Finished off the evening with an Irish victory.
This morning I woke to a beautifully decorated kitchen by Gabi. Decided to run to Purely Pressed for a smoothie bowl, Target to look and grab Starbucks for my birthday drink. Came home and just enjoyed the rest of the afternoon with Gabi relaxing and talking. Got some mums for the planters at Lowe’s and got ready to have my parents, kid and grands over for pizza from Rossini and a backyard fire afterwards complete with cake, cheesecake and s’mores. I am sooooo very blessed. What a perfect day God has blessed me with. Sunny and in the 70s, but most importantly, with people who love me. I got so many texts, calls and posts on social media. Definitely feeling the love tonight.
