Gabi was sick...but she cheered for the girls basketball team against Concord.  And they won another good game!

Fall Awards

Wednesday Evening was the Fall Awards.  Another Scholar Athlete Award, The Shovel Award from Lana (for digging into everything she does and achieving it), Captain Award and the Three Year Varsity Award.  Proud of our cheerleader!

Pokagon State Park Reduction Hunt

Ben and I took his stand out to Pokagon State Park on Sunday afternoon since he got chosen for the Park Reduction Hunt on Monday and Tuesday.  He decided to post up near the Nature Center and it payed off. Two does.  One down at 9:30am dressed out at 101 lbs. and the other down at 11:15am dressing out at 105 lbs.  Was a nice day for a hunt.  Calm winds and just a tad chilly in the upper 30's.  Because he got the two and he needed to get back to work, Ben skipped out on today's hunt.

Girls BBall Washington

The girls basketball team looked good last night against Washington!  Excited for the season.

New Prairie

The football team's season came to a stop last night against New Prairie....a good team indeed.  Very bittersweet game knowing it was Gabi's last high school football game she would cheer for.  Cold too.

Can't wait - Senior Pics

We were able to get Gabi's senior pics in before the rain on Sunday.  Met with Dani Meersman...a photographer and student at Notre Dame to get her pics done on campus.  I'm super excited to see the finished product!

Sectional - Clay

70-0 was the score for Sectionals against Clay last night....
It was boring but had to hand it to Clay...they didn't give up.  This was the last game Gabi would cheer at Steele Field....very bittersweet.  It was also Halloween theme...thus the costumes...
