Tuesday - Waffle Farms

Tuesday evening we headed to the little restaurant dockside we always go to ... The Willows with Chad and his family after a day on the sandbar again.

Ben, Dad, Reese and I also caught a few fish for our fish fry (Thursday)

Monday - Waffle Farms

It got a little quieter once Monday came around, but the four campers at Waffle Farms stayed the entire week...my aunt Carol and her family, my mom, dad and grandma, my brother and his family and us.  My Uncle Rusty, Aunt Julie and Ryan came up on Sunday and stayed at a lakehouse just one lake over from the campground.  Uncle Kenny and Aunt Sharon also arrived on Monday to stay with my Uncle Rusty.  The shenanigans began.

Later that evening we loaded up and took a ride over to a little Ice Cream Shop just a lake over this time. Talk about an awesome place!  Just inside a little gas station, but we could get there by boat and cheap! Annnnd some GREAT ice cream for sure!

Waffle Farms Vacation First Weekend

We headed up to Waffle Farms on July 5th this year for 10 days.  We could not have asked for a better week.  Sunny and in the 80s all week long.  No rain but some sprinkles on the last Saturday we were there. Grandma Jones came with my parents this time, which brought back lots of memories for us all growing up camping with the family.  She walked down with us on Friday evening to the Pavilion and even got in on some dancing!


Saturday the campground put on one of the best firework shows I have ever seen.  Right in front of our sites. We literally moved our chairs to the docks right below our sites to watch.  Spectacular to say the least.
Tyler and his family, along with Trenton, came up for both weekends.  This was a first time camping for Madden and Lennox!  Gabi also invited her boyfriend, Ryan Wroblewski, up for the weekend as well.
